4 New Releases Coming to SPIEL 2025
Essen SPIEL (October 23-26) is right around the corner and we're bringing 4 new releases with us! The SPIEL Preview List shows a good overview, and you can find more information on all the games below.
Pinched! - a new set collection game for 2-5 players by David Gordon and Jonathan Gilmour-Long.
As the wealthy flaunt their valuables, with their infinite money and privilege, the less fortunate of us are left to scheme on how to skim a bit off the top. You are not wealthy. You call your esteemed profession: “Wealth Redistribution” or, in layperson’s terms - burglary, ah... but burglary is such a harsh word... pinching, merely, and you're darn good at it. Unfortunately, so are your “friends”...
In Pinched!, each turn, one player (burglar) becomes “The Mastermind”, planning their perfect, infallible Heist. In the meantime, the other burglars in town have been busy trying to guess where the break-in will be. If The Mastermind manages to go alone, they will take all valuables in that location for themselves, but if the other burglars guess correctly, and show up in the right place, they will be able to pinch some Valuables from The Mastermind’s Heist! The player who steals and sells the most Valuables, and hence “Redistributes” the most wealth is the winner.

Sharpen your axes and send your fiercest raiders and heroes into battle to seize control of the Northern Outposts. Early victories may bring glory, but beware... during Ragnarok, the Gods themselves will tip the scales. Only those who outsmart their enemies will claim true victory!
Red North is a combative game of hidden information and bluffing for 2 to 4 players that plays in 30mins. It's a strategic card game full of tense excitement, where players compete, through hidden hands of various factions of warriors, to conquer outposts of corresponding factions. Knowing when to commit and when to bow out is key in winning you the game!
In this SPIEL release, players will deploy Raiding Parties to try gain control of various Outposts. By deploying more Raiders. Jarls and Heroes, a player reveals which Outposts they are battling for, giving away their strategic position. Resources are scarce - so players must balance their deployed warriors with the need to reserve a Party large enough to compete in the final "Ragnarok" round - where even the Norse Gods become involved.
Red North is a new edition of Saer, a game originally published by La Mame Games in 2024.

Tenby is one of the most beautiful towns in Wales. With its colourful terraced houses, its sweeping beaches and excellent fish 'n' chips, it is a place that will stay in your memories and heart forever.
You will play as a visitor to the town of Tenby, looking to capture the beauty and spirit of the town in the form of streets made of terraces, piers and landmarks. Gain the trust of the local residents and listen to their wishes for your streets, they might just help you to build a better town!
The aim of this SPIEL release is to create the best town you can using the available cards. On your turn, you will add terraces, piers and Tenby town’s landmarks into your streets. If you can persuade a hard working local resident to help, you might just pick up some extra points! Whoever has the most points at the end of the game is the winner!
Fateforge: Kin of the Wild - a new Fateforge expansion adding playable pet companions.
Fateforge: Chronicles of Kaan is a mythical action adventure campaign full of surprising twists with a sprawling story and intense fights in episodes of under an hour.
The game offers an accessible, cooperative RPG-like board game experience for 1 to 4 players. Meaningful narrative choices and intense combat scenes are the action-packed heart of the game.
